  • New landing page to render places with an updated theme that supports a friendlier, more scalable, user interface
  • When creating new places, a new place creation page has been created in order to support this new theme
  • New place creation theme and place display utilizes Domino XPages and Bootstrap – and may be configured in the global settings
  • Directory picker rendered on all directory UI selections is now Ajax based and does not require a Java applet – since applets are no longer supported in most environments
  • The global settings area now includes an area to select either a Domino or LDAP directory and in both cases this UI will be rendered without the use of a Java applet

  • This update addresses two enhancement requests related to the Team Sessions web client.
    1. Updated the Team Sessions web client login dialog so that login process gets initiated on “Enter” key event. Previously, the focus was not set appropriately so that the enter key would submit the login information
    2. Update the Team Sessions web client to show login dialog only when the automated login process fails. In previous builds, the Team Sessions web client would request a login dialog regardless of whether the Team Sessions server was integrated with either a Domino or LDAP\AD directory. With this release, the login dialog will only be displayed if the server based ‘token store’ is not available (for instance, if Team Sessions is not integrated with the Domino directory)

Version 3.2 (August 8, 2012)

Summary:

Instant Team Sessions V3.2 for IBM Lotus Sametime includes a redesigned client experience with a new plugin installation process. The client benefits from a new javascript bridge that enables a web form to populate information from a browser page directly into a chat room. This javascript bridge enables the new Quick Reports that provide a set of standard data entry forms (as HTML) to assist with posting standard information into a room. In addition to the updated client UI, the new client also supports the Apple Mac OS.

  • New chat room data entry reports—providing a custom data entry form for frequent chat room updates
